FotoSketcher is a free software tool that allows you to transform your photos into real artworks in a very easy and funny way. Thanks to FotoSketcher, you can take your photos and make them look as if they had been painted or drawn by a famous artist. You can select among 28 fancy effects that include pencil sketch, pen & ink sketch, painting and miscellaneous effects.

The program's user interface is a balanced mixture of design and functionality. It offers you a double panel where you can see both your source image and how it will look after applying your selected effects. All the tools and effects this program includes are right at hand thanks to its well-designed toolbar. Besides the mentioned drawing and painting effects, the program also allows you to apply numerous simple effects to your photo such as rotation, cropping, text addition, stylish borders, contrast/luminosity/saturation adjustment, and much more. Whatever effect you select to apply to your photo, you can configure all its related parameters as well. For example, for the watercolor painting effect you can set the color blending, the edge intensity, the strength of the effect, the luminosity and brushstrokes intensity. Additionally, for all the available effects you can add edge softening, frames, textures and texts. Once you're happy with your results, you can save your creation as a new image file. The program supports JPEG, BMP and PNG image file formats for both the source and the resulting image files.

All in all, FotoSketcher allows you to create your own professional-looking artworks without spending a penny. All you need is just nice pictures. This is the first version of the program that is fully compatible with Windows 10. You can use the program totally free of charge, even for commercial use, however, you're welcome to donate if you feel pleased with the program. The only drawback I can mention for FotoSketcher is that it doesn't support batch processing (e.g. it doesn't allow you to add a text or a frame to several photos in batches).
